I’m getting fed up with all of the women trying to outdo each other whenever we get together—I swear sometimes I think it’s even worse than it was in high school. I am therefore ashamed to admit that I can’t wait for the next gathering because I’ve got this one in the bag!
I recently discovered Roundabouts cupcake sleeves, and I’m dying to show off the cupcakes I can create with them. They are adorable…one set looks like the bottom of a gumball machine. Wrap it around the base of the cupcake, top it with icing and gumballs, and you have real-looking little edible gumball machines! You can make baby bottles (baby showers!), wedding cakes (wedding showers!), sushi and margaritas (girls’ night/evening parties!), hamburgers and baseball mitts, popcorn and movie reels…they’re so whimsical and unique and will steal the show at any gathering. Ha-no, I’m not his wife but I am a very good friend of hers! My daughter is also a very good friend of his daughter, and I even went to school with him for a couple of years in grade school (he used to make fun of me because I could never get the volleyball over the net in gym). You raise a good question–the only answer I can come up with is that he’s, well, quirky!
